OUR INDUSTRY SOLUTIONS

We deliver actionable intelligence to some of the world’s leading brands from insurance, financial services and humanitarian response, as well as local and national Governments.

Insurance & Reinsurance

Since 2016, MIS has been the exclusive geospatial data and imagery analysis partner to Lloyd’s. MIS intelligence empowers claims and exposure management teams to make accurate reserving and coverage decisions faster and more cost effectively following events anywhere in the world, and also enables delivery of a proactive service to policyholders, plus early insight into exposure at portfolio and individual policy level.

The results have been game changing. 93% more accurate initial reserving versus catastrophe models, claims paid with no loss adjusting intervention and accurate triage improving lifecycles by up to 40%.

Government

We work with national and local governments around the world to deliver targeted geospatial intelligence training, enabling their teams to be equipped for the evolving intelligence challenges of today’s world. We have a number of training packages that we regularly deliver on mapping, imagery analysis, synthetic aperture radar interpretation and the use of intelligence techniques in practice, or are equally happy to write and deliver new packages and mentoring schemes.

NGOs & Public Sector

We are proud to work with humanitarian and disaster relief agencies and international organisations to deliver remote monitoring, alert and response projects of all sizes, as well as working with the world’s leading media outlets and journalists reporting on environmental matters or conflict who require intelligence from the ground.

We help agencies and organisations to perform their vital work in inhospitable areas or conflict zones, drawing on the military skills of several members of the team and fusing them with our expertise in remote sensing, geospatial data and imagery analysis to safely deliver cost effective and targeted remote monitoring and analysis. We are often asked to monitor key sites for activity or rapidly confirm the circumstances of natural catastrophes or geopolitical events, which helps organisations to utilise their resources effectively and deliver targeted responses as well as enabling long term development.

“Our investigations unit has worked with McKenzie Intelligence for many years now, they have never faltered in the quality of the work, always delivered at speed and with support that goes above and beyond”

Forestry & Arable Sector

The physical geographies of the world change on a daily basis.  Via our flagship remote intelligence processing software – the European Space Agency backed Global Events Observer (GEO) – MIS monitors land use, agriculture and forestry.

Our clients use this data to drive decisions around their Environmental Social Governance (ESG) policy and to confirm reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries, and the role of conservation, sustainable management of forests, and enhancement of forest carbon stocks in developing countries” (REDD+)

Our clients are truly global and we enable them to remain hyper connected and informed by combining space data, ground data and imagery analysis with their locations data and strategic priorities to create bespoke intelligence.

“The team are obviously experts in their fields but are also genuinely engaged in the tasks we require of them.”
